No. Although the Round Table is associated with Universal Co-Masonry, membership within the Round Table is separate from membership of Universal Co-Masonry—being two separate organizations.
Yes! Parents/legal guardians are not only allowed to participate but encouraged to have an active engagement with their child in the Round Table. Parents/legal guardians will always have full access to their child during any meeting of the Round Table, whether in-person or online.
In-person gatherings of the Round Table consist of a ritual-based meeting and medieval activities (such as kid-friendly jousting, swordplay, building castles, shields, and trebuchets). Virtual meetings are created for role- playing in the various stories of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table. In both physical and online meetings, all members wear their uniform whether it be a page with his dagger or knights with their capes and chainmail!
There are age requirements and the accomplishment of Shields of Achievement that one must meet in order to advance. Shields of Achievement help to promote a sense of accomplishment in its members, and accomplishing the tasks also cultivates the youth’s moral education.
Page, Companion, Squire, and Knight. All admissions are at the rank of Page, but advancement can be accelerated if the member is older than 10 years of age.
All members, independent of gender, are addressed as "He". This speaks to the high ideal that we all belong to the Brotherhood of Mankind under the banner of the King, and not to any particular stance of the current cultural discussion. By applying for membership, you are willingly submitting to this form of address.
